Custom Creations for Charity, LLC
How Donations Are Distributed
Donations will be sent to their respective charities quarterly, providing the charity has reached $25. For example, donations will be sent on the 1st of January, April, July, and October if the proceeds for that charity have reached $25. If it hasn't, it will roll over to the next send date. For example...
On December 31, proceeds for breast cancer awareness total $36.00 so a check in that amount will be mailed on January 1st. On the other hand, if the proceeds only total $12.00, that amount will be rolled over to be included in the next quarter payment sent on April 1st.
How Can I Be Sure You Are Really Donating 20% Of the Proceeds?
Every customer who makes a purchase through Custom Creations for Charity, LLC will receive a copy of the cashed check (front and back) via regular mail by the 30th of each month the donation was sent. So, by the 30th of January, April, July, and October, if a donation was made, the consumer will receive a copy of the front and back of the cashed check. If no donation was sent because it had not reached the $25 requirement, the consumer will receive a letter explaining how much was made for that quarter and that it will be rolled over to the next month for donations.
What Happens If I Buy Something From the Specific Charity Section and a Pick The Charity Section?
20% of every sale within the Charity Specific will be allocated to the charity to which the item is related. For example, if a consumer purchases a T-Shirt from the Breast Cancer category, twenty percent of the purchase will be sent to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. If a consumer purchases from the Charity Specific section and the You Pick the Charity section, each charity will receive its respective donation. For example:
Betty buys a breast cancer t-shirt for $18.00 and a water bottle for $25.00 and chose the Diabetes Research Institute charity. The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation would receive 20% ($3.60) for the T-shirt and the Diabetes Research Institute would receive 20% ($5.00) for the water bottle.
